Create a Native Talking Stick Outdoor Workshop

May 2, 2021 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm CDT

Come enjoy a wonderful class on how to make a Native Staff for meditation. Did you know that Apache elders would collect wood from the forest that were struck by lightening to make their staffs and other meditation energy tools.

Our elders taught us that tree branches struck by lightening were touched by the finger of God and was energized to be used for contemplation, meditation and healing energy. Billie Topa Tate provides a beautiful newly designed class to receive energy training to make your own personal staff for meditation.

In this class, you will learn…

-How to harvest natural items from nature
-How to polish your staff and wrap with leather and other material
-Empower your staff with sacred intentions
-Infuse your staff with wonderful energy
-Learn beautiful native stories to focus wonderful medicine into your staff

All wood staffs will be provided. We will provide some beads, leather, feathers and other beautiful items. We encourage you to bring crystals, feathers, dream catcher or other items you would like to contribute to your meditation staff. Come enjoy an exceptional native class and take home a personal meditation staff which will be completed during class.

This workshop is offered for in person only.
