Billie Topa Tate – Billie Topa Tate’ is the founder of MSI (Mystical Sciences Institute) an earth friendly educational institute located in Evanston, Illinois. Billie is Mescalero Apache and is dedicated to presenting the sacred principles, doctrines, and teachings of her Native Culture and many ancient wisdom systems from around the world, creating synthesis through harmony of many lineages.
A traditional Native American healer and teacher of Mescalero Apache descent, trained and educated by numerous family Elders and extended family members. She is a Reiki Master Teacher Eighth Degree and licensed therapeutic massage therapist. Billie is an approved provider of continuing education programs for Massage Therapists and Illinois Nurses. Has written and lecturer extensively for more than 10 years. She is internationally recognized as a wonderful teacher, healer and advocate of Earth Friendly endeavors. Billie maintains a successful practice at her MSI center in Evanston, and with the expressed permission from her Native culture Billie shares many of the ancestral principles, healing systems and native wisdoms with her students and clients.
Janet Berres – Janet Berres was the founder and President of the International Tarot Society, from 1996-2003. She created and organized the three World Tarot Congresses (1997, 1999, and 2002) that changed the face of the tarot community. As a professional tarot reader for more than forty years, literally thousands of clients have consulted Janet for her uncanny insights into their life’s events.
Janet has been active in the astrological community for over 40 years as well, and served on the national board of NCGR (an astrological organization) from 2005-2009. She is presently President of the Northern Ill. Chapter of NCGR.
She co-owned and operated Light of the Moon, a metaphysical bookstore in Evanston, IL from 1992-1995 and has been heavily involved in the metaphysical, pagan and Goddess communities for all of her adult life (and probably past lives too!).
Janet’s book, published in 2005, Your Guide to the Tarot, is included in Llewellyn’s Tarot Kit for Beginners and is available at Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, and especially at your independent bookseller’s!
Dawn Silver – is the author of the book and card deck Jewels of the Lotus Tibetan Gemstone Oracle, a recipient of the Coalition of Visionary Retailers Award.
Silver is a licensed Naprapath, receiving her Doctor of Naprapathy from CNCN in 1982. She is also a certified aromatherapist and a Mari-el practioner. Silver has studied with various crystal workers: Michael Smith, Dael Walker, Randall Baer, Carol Glover, Gary Fleck, and others noted experts. She has been classically taught in astrology since 1977 with the late spiritual astrologer Helen Francis Blue.
Silver began her journey teaching and practicing crystal healing in 1985. She was privileged to work with the late spiritual leader, Sun Bear. Founder of the Bear Tribe, Sun Bear taught crystal healing during his Midwest spiritual retreats. Through this amazing experience, Silver evolved her work into The Jewels of the Lotus Crystal Healing Series, which she teaches nationally and internationally.
Her certification program includes classes unlike any other—Vibrational Medicine through RasaVidya Health Astrology developed by the late Kirpal Singh, spiritual head of the Science of Spirituality.
