I’d like to prompt you with questions to help align you with your positive future. So let’s begin by sanctioning 3 min of your time.
Close your eyes, take a deep breath and now lets read this written meditation to create new possibilities.
- How can I show up in a way that I can allow this positive future to unfold?
- Consider .. How can I show up fully for the opportunities that I encounter?
- Contemplate … Who do I want to be in relation to others?
- What might get in the way and how do I move beyond it?
- What are the skills and capabilities that I might need to get there?
Notice your thoughts and feelings that come to mind. And as you hold this positive future in your mind. This future that you feel deeply moved towards
See yourself right now somewhere in this positive future in your minds eye and reflect on the things you did that enabled you to get there. See yourself doing some of those things …
Maybe it’s putting your energy into learning new skills or maybe it’s how you allow yourself to connect with positive others. Notice what it feels like when you imagine doing these positive things.
Take a deep breath and as you release the breath just have a knowing that you can come back to this meditation any time to rediscover that connection inside that produces this positive future.
We all have the ability to improve the quality of our life
Take these wonderful feelings back with you as you head back to your day today and from this moment.
Allow this energy to guide you in your world now.

How Meditation Can Help with Anxiety
Meditation is the ability to quiet the mind while providing natural healing benefits for all types of mental, physical and emotional health. 90% of people will suffer from anxiety at some point in their life. An estimated 6.8 million Americans have Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) which is a chronic condition they can’t shut off. If you have chronic anxiety, even the smallest thing can trigger an episode. Anxiety is provoked by racing thoughts that won’t go away. Anxiety will cause you to find yourself with fearful thoughts about finances, family, your health, and what’s happening at work. In general, anxiety can be defined as living in the future.
How To Fight Anxiety:
Numerous scientific studies have found meditation to be effective for treating anxiety. The overall conclusion is that by practicing mindfulness or meditation , the change in your brain produces beneficial results, with substantial improvement.
Meditation helps fight anxiety by quieting the overactive mind. Instead of buying into your fearful thoughts, you can start identifying with the silence that exists between every mental action. The key to releasing anxiety is to be in present moment awareness.
There are numerous ways you can deal with anxiety, besides taking medication.

Many times we have within us a agitation which can cause us to have ” Active Stress”
In order to change our external universe, we much change our internal universe. We can do this by following some very simple steps to help us achieve a place of peace.
The first method I guide my students through is a breathing method following our breathing is a very effective way of getting the mind focused. this has many benefits, firstly, you can not change what you can not see, and focusing on the breath will allow for change to occur. this calms the nervous system, slows down the heart rate and clams the mind.

Read on for Additional Steps:
Step 1 bring the attention to your breathing, observe the breath but don’t try to control your breathing, can you feel how your breathing is? is it intense or shallow ?
Step 2 Now start to deepen the breath by first expanding the heart area, then the ribs and last the belly area, then slowly exhale. the air should exit very calmly so there is not intensity to the breath. Do this again, in hale expanding the heart area, then the ribs and lastly the belly area,
Step 3 Go back to just relaxing the breath and see how the breath has changed
Step 4 Next I want you focus on things in your life that you are grateful for and to give thanks for.
Focus on all things that are positive in your life. think of anything that has been a great lesson to you, even if it has been difficult, think of any moment that has been of great value in your life, send love to all those around you, with your eyes close visualize them and say thank you to them for being on your journey. remember also to thank the people who have been great teachers to you and have shared valuable time and wisdom with you.
Step 5 Check your breath again and see how your breath has changed, observe how your mind has changed for the better. You will start to notice all active stress transform into a great sense of calmness, you will start to feel the Great Spirit in your heart once more. You will once again feel that life is wonderful remember everything in life is possible once you make it important enough, know that you have all that you need in this moment.
